"Build infrastructure that is observable, scalable, and repeatable, then automate everything else."
Cloud and software engineer pursuing a Master's at the University of Maryland, College Park, with hands-on experience across AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, backend APIs, and automation. Skilled in building cloud-native systems using Docker, EKS, Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines, with additional experience in Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake for scalable analytics. Strong foundation in Linux, distributed systems, observability, and production support with a focus on secure, reliable, and scalable engineering solutions.
Provisioned a private AWS EKS foundation via CloudFormation, including VPC, subnets, route tables, NAT gateway, node groups, IAM roles, and ECR repositories. Deployed the AWS Load Balancer Controller with IRSA and ALB‑based Ingress for secure path‑based routing across six microservices. Integrated Metrics Server, Cluster Autoscaler, and the EBS CSI Driver to enable autoscaling, persistent volumes, and resilient scheduling.
Built a customer behavior analytics platform using Python, PySpark, and Databricks to process user activity logs, transaction events, and application data for large-scale analytics. Developed ETL pipelines and transformation workflows to clean, aggregate, and enrich raw datasets, enabling trend analysis and operational reporting.
Engineered a predictive auto‑scaling service deployed as a highly available Dockerized workload on AWS EKS, interfacing with the Kubernetes API to provision capacity ahead of demand spikes. Built a time‑series forecasting pipeline using the Prophet model trained on historical CPU, memory, and request metrics to drive intelligent scaling decisions. Integrated RDS MySQL for metric storage and CloudWatch for real‑time telemetry to compare predicted vs. actual behavior.
Architected an AWS Step Functions state machine orchestrating Lambda for business logic, SES for email delivery, and API Gateway for secure REST endpoints. Leveraged S3 for workflow state persistence in a fully event‑driven, zero‑server architecture.
Developed a Personal Package Archive distributing a custom log‑collection service, deployed at scale via Ansible playbooks. Logs are forwarded to Graylog for real‑time analysis, advanced search, and configurable alerting - enabling centralized observability across multi‑server environments.
